THE EXCHANGE

Keeping Philippine traffic closer to Philippine users.

Maharlika IX is a neutral, community-driven interconnection platform built by Filipinos, for Filipino networks.

A shared platform for a stronger local Internet.

Our mission is to keep more Philippine traffic local, reduce latency, improve routing resilience, reduce dependence on international transit, and make peering accessible to networks of different sizes.

Neutrality

Participating networks should be treated fairly, with transparent requirements and member-controlled routing policy.

Community purpose

The exchange is designed to support cooperation among ISPs, carriers, content platforms, universities, enterprises, government institutions, and community networks.

Available on request to production

The platform is designed as a production service. Services are labeled honestly as Available on request, planned, or available on request until production readiness is confirmed.

Open information

Requirements, policies, and service state should be understandable and publicly documented.

Affordable participation

Smaller and regional networks deserve a realistic path to local peering.

Engineering trust

Operational claims must come from verified configuration or live sources.
